Neekera was the 14th of a large litter on the White Claw Clans's home planet and was quickly raised in to the world of a violent feudal system that was setup in the Lyran Star Clans. With the Clans all jockeying for power, her's was the smallest and most insignificant. With only 14 starships total in her fleet, her clan kept to itself and operated small mining operations to bring in profit for them.
It was mandatory for Lyrans to be enlisted in to the Space navy and Neekera joined to serve her time. Growing bored of the narrow jobs and boring life, she took the oppurtunity of the cold Gorn/Lyran exchange program and transferred onboard the GSN Gorn Talon.
Neekera is like most all Lyrans, deceptive, sneaky and cat-like. Tk'Lnn trusts her implicitly, but that doesn't stop her from playing mind games with most of the crew.
Neekera has a longer temper then most cats, but gets very vicious when compared or refered to as a Kzinti or Caiton.
